Dunja Vukosavovic

Dunja Vukosavovic is a Pianist, Composer, Singer/Songwriter, Producer. Dunja, at 12 years old, wrote the piano piece for her mother who was struggling with cancer at that time, Titled For Iva. For Iva was featured on all the major TV and Radios stations throughout Europe, starting the beginning of Dunja’s music professional career. Dunja won numerous music awards including Grand Prize at Stresa, Italy musical competition and was awarded at the Royal Academy of Music, London.

Post-Graduation, she won a travel grant to participate at the Juilliard Auditions. Moving to NYC, Dunja started working in the commercial music industry, creating musical scores for TV and movies while continuing to write her songs. That led her to work with well-known movie and music writers and producers such as Ridley Scott, Benjamin Dickinson, Oscar winning John Patrick Shanley and many others. John Shanley and Dunja wrote the song Shadow River dedicated to children with cancer. John Shanley has since called her a contemplative musical goddess and gifted composer and performer of exceptional grace.

Dunja performed at the White House. She also served as a music director for a televised Christmas Eve service conducted by Cardinal Timothy Dolan and has performed for Macy's Christmas events with the likes of Darlene Love and Wayne Knight of Seinfeld (NBC), as well as Elf’s The Musical’s Broadway Cast.

Dunja is a longtime volunteer for NYC Ronald McDonald House, housing for children with cancer, and she often volunteers at the Jewish Home and Hospital. She has helped to establish music direction for Churches such as Tim Keller Redeemer Presbyterian Church of NYC.
